What do I mean by Copy Writing?
The base of All Marketing is Copy-Writing,
and Copy Writing is a learnable skill.
1. The first step is a Great Headline (Title)
This can include a Sub Headline and/or Title.
In an email – this will be the Subject Line.
The Headline is the Hook. It must pop and Get their attention Fast.
70 to 80% of your ad’s effectiveness involves the Headline.
Here are 6 of the 16 most persuasive words in advertising according to David Ogilvy:
Suddenly, Now, Announcing, Introducing, Improvement and Amazing.
The headline is: The Ad for the Ad.
a) Sends a message to the target audience
b) States and immediate benefit
c) Must be specific
d) Be controversial
Headline formats: News, Testimonials and Question/Warning
Practice makes perfect so practice writing some headlines for your product or service and bounce them off others before you commit them to print.
