14. Reverse Risk –
When you think about it, the buyer is the one taking all the risk when they buy your product…In their mind.
By reversing the risk, we as marketers are saying, let us take all the risk and if you aren’t happy for any reason, we offer a money back guarantee, No questions asked! Or another strategy is to say, keep the bonuses if you decide to ask for a refund.
Costco Wholesale is one of the most successful Big Box stores precisely because of their, “Risk Reversal” policy. You can return most anything at Costco anytime, with only a few exceptions. No Questions Asked.
15. Testimonials –
Build testimonials into your copy. Always be asking for testimonials from your raving fans. Success stories of those who like you and your products will influence more buyers than anything you can say yourself.
Always ask permission to use testimonials and let your raving fans write or edit the testimonial.
Write testimonials as stories of what happened before, (perhaps a pain story) and the outcome of using your product as the solution.
