The energy and profit in your business involves Selling.
The activity of selling!

Poor business people are consumed with doing “operations”
We must focus on the selling.
Operations can take the form of any number of , “important” activities like office work, accounting activities, paperwork, errands, etc. This is where many people get into trouble.
Selling and marketing must consist of a minimum of 60% of your time.
80% of time on marketing is better.
Think of a pyramid:
At the top write the word “Production” 20%
At the right base write the word “Admin” 20%
At the left base write “Marketing” 60%
Live this! and you will be focusing on Selling.
Marketing in my business means spending more time in front of clients and prospects. Touches to the people who bring revenue into my business.
Marketing in your business may be more bids, more telemarketing, Internet marketing, more job walks, etc.
As long as you are marketing focused, your business will produce more sales.
